7th Annual Winch Group Community Sports Equipment Drive

Description: On November 5 at Mainway Arena, Winch Group Benefits Consultants Inc. of Burlington held their 7th annual Community Sports Equipment Drive. Volunteers accepted new and gently used sporting equipment and monetary donations. All equipment was packed in trailers provided by the Ontario Provincial Police for transport to Northern Ontario First Nations communities. Along with the proceeds from the barbecue that was open during the drive, all corporate donations were directed to the Halton Children's Aid Society (CAS) to help fund sport and extracurricular activities for local children in need.
