Legacy Art Workshop

Description: The physical embrace of a hug is comforting for anyone in a time of need. The Legacy Art Workshop event was dedicated to making a creative legacy project that can be completed by anyone and is then exchanged as a lasting memento. This event was part of the official launch of the Compassionate City Charter, a community initiative that focuses on increasing awareness and utilization of both existing and new palliative care resources. Through community events, Compassionate City Charter aims to normalize the death, dying and grief processes and enable Burlington residents to feel more comfortable talking about and planning for these guaranteed life events.
