Helmets On Kids Campaign

Description: The primary children from Grades 1 to 4 at Paul A. Fisher Public School were the recipients of 80 brand new bike helmets delivered to them on June 16. The Helmets On Kids Campaign seeks to put a helmet on the head of every child who needs one. Since its inception, the campaign has presented over 25,000 helmets to children all over Ontario. The event included a fun, interactive presentation to instruct the kids on safety and injury prevention, brain function and the anatomy, as well as games like pin the helmet on the bike rider and touch the squishy brain. When the helmets were distributed, each child received a personal fitting and adjustment. Martin & Hillyer Associates and the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association gratefully recognize the generous support of their partners and sponsors, the Brain Injury Association of Peel and Halton, the Halton District School Board, Halton Regional Police, Halton Healthcare, Will Davidson LLP and Stevenson Whelton MacDonald Swan LLP.
